about
“In order to love is about feeling like you're watching the world without subtitles. Everyone around you seems to know something that you don't and you're afraid you'll make a mistake, you want someone to better explain it all. The song is a series of questions that may never be answered, but screaming them from the rooftops can do a world of good.” - Gussy, 2017
In Order To Love is the latest single from Sydney’s Gussy. Written by Gussy and co-produced alongside Adelaide’s Lonelyspeck, In Order To Love is an affirmation of vulnerability, set to a soundscape of elliptical synth melodies and soaring vocals.
The video for In Order To Love was a joint project between Gussy and their frequent collaborators Dylan Nicolas and Joe Brennan.
It comes as the follow-up to the singles Mornings (co-prod. Strict Face) and last year's Looking At Myself which included a remix from Air Max 97 and saw them perform with the likes of Kllo, Banoffee, Habits and Oscar Key Sung.
